Why did Goddess Durga have ten hands??
two hands represent the Laxmi 'tatva' in all of us-- the beauty, the prosperity
two for Saraswati 'tatva'- which represents knowledge, diplomacy...
two for Parvati 'tatva' which symbolise.. love and passion
two for Ganesh 'tatva'.. which is for removal of all obstacles, when we ask inccocently.. we get all that we desire..
two for Kartikeya 'tatva'
All successful ladies have all these traits. only then can they kill the 'Mahishasur' in the society, in their minds and hearts and abolish it completely from the system.
Some ego is also required to kill.. Otherwise one cannot engage in any battle .. and at times a confrontation is required too. Ego here is beneficial and leads one to confrontation essential to face and destroy the evil.
A combination of all this .. leads to victory.
